Chicago’s most highly anticipated street festival, drawing in over 75k+ enthusiastic visitors, is a vibrant celebration of the neighborhood’s rich musical heritage, lively nightlife, and exceptional culinary scene. Wicker Park Fest, a three-day extravaganza boasts an impressive lineup of 50+ original music acts, carefully curated by Subterranean, a stalwart in the Chicago music scene.

In addition to the stellar music performances, the festival showcases a diverse array of arts and culture initiatives. Art installations adorn the streets, while the Community Culture Stage hosts captivating international dance performances. Festival-goers can savor a delightful array of culinary delights from acclaimed restaurants and cafes, and explore more than 150 brick & mortar shops, featuring bookstores, vintage sellers, and other unique vendors.

Families are in for a treat with the family-friendly kids area, taking place on Saturday and Sunday. The Kids Fest experience offers a perfect retreat where families can enjoy shaded relaxation while engaging in activities like ladybug releases, mini-golf, arts and crafts, and enchanting magic acts. It’s worth noting that all proceeds from the Kids Fest section of the festival go to benefit Friends of Burr Elementary School, making it an event with a heartwarming cause.

The 2023 headliners are set to dazzle the crowds with an unforgettable musical experience. Among the notable performers are Built to Spill, The Regrettes, Dreamer Isioma, Lido Pimienta, Speedy Ortiz, BabyJake, Billy Woods, Say She She, Manwolves, and many more. The festival schedule runs from 5 pm to 10 pm on Friday, July 28, and from 12 pm to 10 pm on Saturday and Sunday, along the vibrant stretch of Milwaukee Avenue from Damen to Ashland.
