Wake ‘n Bacon, conceived by seasoned hospitality experts and the dynamic husband-and-wife team, Gabriel and Sarah Ayala, boasts an exceptional and elevated menu influenced by comfort food with an intriguing blend of Asian and Latin flavors, curated by the talented Executive Chef Will Silas.

Open daily at 8 a.m., Wake ‘n Bacon creates a whimsical, stylish, and Instagram-worthy ambiance, seamlessly blending the outdoors with indoor charm. Guests are invited to revel in delectable dishes accompanied by enticing drinks, all within an environment that exudes fun and creativity.

Unveiled in October 2020, Wake ‘n Bacon rapidly garnered a devoted following, magnetized by the captivating floral-filled space offering a playful menu with an optional CBD twist. Now expanding its horizons, the establishment is open for dinner on weekends, transforming from day to night. Every Friday through Sunday, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., a chef-driven dinner menu is presented. As daylight fades, the atmosphere undergoes a magical transformation with dimming lights, twinkling hanging flowers, and glowing walls.

Collaborating closely with Executive Chef Will Silas, the Ayala’s multicultural roots come alive in the menu, featuring culinary delights from Taiwan, China, Argentina, El Salvador, the Philippines, and beyond. Menu highlights include the Sweet Salmon Couscous, South By Southeast Ribs, Abso-Luis Delish Tacos, and more.

For those seeking a relaxing addition, all food and drink items can be infused with CBD, adding a unique twist to enhance the overall dining experience. Hailing from the South Side of Chicago, William Silas discovered his passion for cooking in the 4th grade, leading to a culinary journey that included a full-tuition scholarship to the Culinary Institute of America. Silas, with a rich background working with renowned catering companies and even hosting his cooking show, “That’s That Phi,” now serves as the Executive Chef at Wake ’n Bacon, crafting inventive, multiculturally-inspired renditions of classic American comfort foods, all available with an optional infusion of CBD.
