Wrigley Field Unveils Exciting New Food Options for the 2025 Season
This is not your grandpa’s Wrigley Field concession stand. There was a time—not that long ago—when the upper reaches of ballpark dining at Wrigley Field consisted of a giant helmet full of nachos, a hot dog, and chicken tenders. Things have definitely changed for 2025.
Fans will now find an expanded and diverse menu featuring bold new additions, including infused donuts, lobster rolls, ranch bombs, dill pickle tater tots, pork bao, short rib sliders, and puffy tacos. These offerings bring a mix of indulgence and innovation to the ballpark, ensuring there’s something for every craving.
One of the standout additions is the Jibarito sandwich, a nod to Chicago’s Puerto Rican community. The dish features roast beef nestled between crispy fried plantains, bringing a beloved local delicacy to Wrigley Field.
In response to growing demand for plant-based options, Wrigley Field has expanded its partnership with OZO Foods, the official plant-based protein of the Chicago Cubs. Fans can look forward to a variety of vegan-friendly choices, including plant-based burgers and Mexican-seasoned ground and shredded chicken.
These culinary enhancements are part of the ongoing 1060 Project, aimed at improving concessions throughout Wrigley Field. The project includes a new 30,000-square-foot preparation area below the plaza, designed to deliver fresh and diverse food options to fans in all areas of the ballpark.
As the Cubs gear up for their home opener on April 4 against the San Diego Padres, fans can anticipate not only thrilling baseball action but also a refreshed and diverse culinary experience that reflects the rich tapestry of Chicago’s food culture.
