Roseland Hospital Transforms Maternity Ward

By

With many families still impacted by the effects of the pandemic, inflation, and soaring energy costs, it’s more important than ever to lean on our community.

The new Roseland Community Hospital has completely overhauled the way they care for patients. Once, on the brink of shuttering it’s doors, Roseland Community Hospital is a beacon of hope in the Roseland community.

“You don’t need to be an expert and know that the morbidity rate for pregnant women in the African American community is skyrocketing,” said Tim Egan, President and CEO of Roseland Community Hospital.

Egan hopes to attract new patients and rebrand the reputation of Roseland Community Hospital with the hospital maternity unit’s new look and new partnership with Cradles to Crayons, a nonprofit that donates baby care kits to families in need.

This is just one small effort to give back to the Roseland community. Throughout the year they offer a truck-or-treat, coat drives, free Thanksgiving dinner kits, and toy giveaways among many more free community events.

If you want to donate or provide sponsorship to Roseland Community Hospital, you can contact the Director of Marketing: Chrislin Flanagan via email at cflanagan@roselandhospital.org.
