Pullman Club Coffee: Brewing History in a Revitalized Neighborhood

By Tom Barnas

Pullman is on the rise. Anchored by the National Park, this historic neighborhood is experiencing a revival, with new businesses emerging and a vibrant community spirit reawakening. One of the latest symbols of Pullman’s renaissance is the Pullman Club Coffee Shop.

Located at One Florence Boulevard, this building was once the Pullman Club—a gathering place for managers of the nearby Pullman Factory from the early 1900s through the 1950s. Today, the original kitchen space has been transformed into a cozy café that honors the building’s storied past. Each seating area breathes new life into Pullman’s history, with recreated floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the veranda and a charming library room filled with books to enjoy alongside a coffee.

The Pullman Club Coffee logo draws from the original stained glass windows of the Pullman Club, which have been carefully restored and now proudly displayed in the entry hall stairwell.

Pullman Club Coffee serves fresh drip coffee, espresso, and nitro cold brew from Metropolis Coffee Company, along with a selection of Rishi Teas and light snacks. Whether exploring Pullman for the first time or rediscovering its charm, visitors are invited to relax, sip, and savor a piece of history.
