Monarch and Lion brings an authentic British pub to Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood. Chef Joshi is an acclaimed chef who has led some of the most prestigious kitchens across the world, including Michelin starred restaurant Gymkhana in London and the highest restaurant in the world in Burj Khalifa.

Rediscovered and reinvented with roots steeped deep in the long history of Great Britain’s pub culture, Chef Joshi presents a menu at Monarch and Lion that plays on the rich and classic flavors of this genre executed with fresh, Midwest ingredients. The beverage program will feature an array of locally-distilled spirits from CH Distillery, custom gin-based cocktails and traditional Pimms to honor its rich heritage.

This cozy neighborhood pub will foster spaces for locals and visitors alike to gather, collaborate, and celebrate. Initially beginning with just dinner service, Monarch and Lion plans to be open 7 days a week for brunch, lunch and dinner.
