For a limited time in November, Chicago will host Mexico City’s iconic El Califa de León, the only Michelin-starred taqueria in the city’s history. Founded in 1968, El Califa is celebrated for its perfectly thinly sliced beef tacos and signature corn tortillas. Now, the taqueria is bringing its legendary flavors to Chicago for a two-week pop-up at Tacombi in Wicker Park, 1442 N. Milwaukee Avenue.

A, a curated selection of El Califa’s tacos will be available at both Wicker Park and Fulton Market locations, giving taco lovers a chance to savor these world-renowned flavors. The pop-up runs through Thursday, November 28, so mark your calendars and don’t miss out!
