Colombian Star Gusi Drops New Single “Acabaste Conmigo” and Announces First-Ever U.S. Tour

Colombian sensation Gusi kicks off a new chapter today with the release of “Acabaste Conmigo”—the first single from his highly anticipated studio album, Vallenato Social Club, arriving April 23. The track features a powerful collaboration with acclaimed singer Elder Dayán, offering a vibrant, modern take on vallenato, Colombia’s beloved folk genre. The song bridges tradition and innovation, setting the tone for an album that celebrates vallenato’s roots while pushing its sonic boundaries.

In tandem with the new single, the five-time Latin GRAMMY® nominee is thrilled to announce his debut U.S. concert series: Solo Tuyo Tour 2025. This nationwide tour marks Gusi’s first time bringing his signature fusion of Colombian heritage and contemporary rhythms to North American audiences. Having recently teamed up with the legendary Emilio Estefan Jr. on his latest work, Gusi is cementing his role as a torchbearer for tropical music’s evolution.

Each show promises an intimate and electrifying experience, highlighting Gusi’s energetic performances and heartfelt storytelling. Fans can expect to hear hits like “Solo Tuyo,” “Me Voy Contigo,” and many more from his decade-spanning career.

The announcement comes on the heels of a milestone year. Gusi’s 2024 Latin GRAMMY® nomination for Monte Adentro (Best Contemporary Tropical Album) marked yet another high point in his journey. Co-produced with Estefan, the album was praised for its seamless blend of tradition and innovation. The title track and its Los Angeles-shot video have become standout moments in Gusi’s artistic evolution, capturing his signature mix of love, authenticity, and tropical flair.

With over a decade in the spotlight, Gusi has grown into one of Latin America’s most compelling tropical music voices. Solo Tuyo Tour 2025 is more than a concert series—it’s a cultural celebration, a tribute to Colombian rhythm, and a showcase of Latin music’s rich diversity.

Some American audiences may already recognize Gusi from his 2023 collaboration with country star Scotty McCreery on “Why She Gotta Be Like That,” a cross-genre hit that hinted at his international appeal.

Born into a family rooted in music—his mother taught him his first guitar chords, and his father hails from Guajira—Gusi’s artistry is deeply personal. He began studying music in Bogotá, drawing early inspiration from Colombia’s vibrant Caribbean coast. His career first took off as part of the duo Gusi & Beto (2006–2013), and since then, he has carved out a unique place in Latin music as a solo artist, singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer.

His acclaimed solo discography includes 24/7, Al Son de Mi Corazón, La Mandarina, and Monte Adentro. As a songwriter, he’s contributed to Latin GRAMMY®-nominated projects for artists like Diego Torres, Andrés Cepeda, Fonseca, Luis Enrique, and Claudia Brant.

Known for vibrant hits like “Locos Dementes,” “Indira II,” and “Tú Tienes Razón,” Gusi has also collaborated with some of Latin music’s biggest names, including Carlos Vives, Nacho, Silvestre Dangond, Franco De Vita, Mike Bahía, Greeicy, Gian Marco, and many more.

Speaking about Vallenato Social Club, Gusi shares:

“It’s an honor to have the support of 12 incredible artists from the vallenato world on this album. To be embraced by a genre that’s so central to Colombian identity—it’s a dream come true.”

He continues:

“I immersed myself in each artist’s style and audience, writing songs that truly reflect who they are. This was a collaborative effort to elevate vallenato and ensure it continues to evolve. My mission is to keep this beautiful genre alive for future generations—with the love and respect it deserves.”

Solo Tuyo Tour 2025 will visit 19 cities across the U.S., beginning March 15 in Orlando, FL, and wrapping April 13 in Nashville, TN. Each stop invites audiences into the heart of Colombia’s Caribbean coast—through rhythm, melody, and heartfelt connection.
