Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group Announces Return of Krampus: The Fright Before Christmas

Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, producers of world-class location-based entertainment, announced the return of its haunted holiday pop-up event, Krampus: The Fright Before Christmas, at 13th Floor Chicago. The event opens Friday, Dec. 13, and runs through Sunday, Dec. 15. Guests will step into a winter horrorland where Krampus and his twisted helpers turn holiday cheer into holiday fear.

13th Floor Chicago will be transformed with lights, presents, and snowflakes, but the creatures lurking inside didn’t make the nice list. Terrifying Christmas characters will appear around every corner, ready to deliver a holly jolly haunting, while Krampus himself awaits to decide each visitor’s holiday fate.

The experience includes themed photo opportunities, specialty drinks—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic—and festive merchandise. Guests can also opt for additional experiences, including:

• Return of the Dead

  Zombie Shoot

• Mini Escape Games

• Kraken’s Cup Secret Bar

• Respawn Pass for repeat entry

On Sunday, Dec. 15, guests are encouraged to wear their most festive or horror-themed holiday sweaters for the inaugural Ugly Sweater Night.

The event will also give back to the community by supporting the Children’s Hospital of Chicago toy drive. Attendees can bring new, unopened toys to donate or add a monetary donation during their online ticket purchase. “While we love bringing the scares, it’s important for us to give back to the community that continues to support us year after year,” General Manager Bryan Kopp said. “We’re thrilled to partner with Children’s Hospital of Chicago to help spread joy this holiday season.”

Tickets for Krampus: The Fright Before Christmas go on sale Wednesday, Nov. 20, starting at $29.99. The event may be too intense for children under 12.
