Kommuna Lux is set to embark on their highly anticipated North American tour this summer, bringing the vibrant and evocative sounds of Ukrainian folk music to audiences across the continent. In an inspiring collaboration, the band has announced a charitable partnership with the Rotary Club in Kyiv, enhancing their tour with a profound cause.

Kommuna Lux’s performances offer a rich tapestry of songs that narrate the history and spirit of Odesa, a historic port city recently impacted by a devastating attack. Their repertoire spans poignant ballads that reflect Odesa’s storied past to lively tunes that celebrate its dynamic culture. Each concert is not just a musical experience but a storytelling journey through the enduring legacy of Odesa.

Attending a Kommuna Lux concert means more than enjoying extraordinary music. The band is an official supporter of The Rotary Club’s Hospital Beds for Kramatorsk project. A portion of the donations collected at their shows will be directed towards purchasing special beds for severe burn victims in hospitals on Ukraine’s front lines. Through their 501(c)(3) charity, KMLX, Kommuna Lux will also donate the remaining funds to provide medicine and protective equipment to various organizations throughout Ukraine.
