Ice Sculptures

SAT, JAN. 28 FROM 2-4PM & SUN, JAN. 29 FROM 12-2PM

Organized by SSA 27, enjoy a live ice sculpture performance in Lakeview to liven up your winter. Watch the artist make winter magic happen as they sculpt a block of ice into a beautiful creation of the audience’s choosing! That’s right — bring your ideas, as the ice sculptor will ask the audience for suggestions of what to create.

SSA 27 will provide food trucks on both days of the event, offering complimentary beverages and pastries to help keep attendees warm. This is a great event for the whole family or the perfect stop on a romantic winter date!

Winter Wellness:

Through the month of January we are working with businesses and community partners to emphasize the importance of health. We are proud to bring wellness programs into our neighborhoods such as free or discounted workout classes, personal health like beauty treatments, and mental health awareness. We are excited to be screening Angst, a video that removes the stigma and opens up the conversation around anxiety, helping people understand and manage their symptoms, and when to reach out for help. Angst will be shown on January 30th at 7pm located at the Music Box Theatre.

Winter Wine Walk:

On February 9th, Southport and Roscoe will turn into wine-tasting destinations. Many of the businesses will be offering exclusive deals for attendees, delicious bites, and a selection of wines to sample thanks to Galleria Liquors and Konbini & Kanpai. We will have over 25 wine selections on each route, and even have some alcohol-free options. Tickets come with a complimentary Winter Wine Walk tasting glass to use during the event, and take home as a souvenir. This event is perfect to shop for your Valentine’s Day gifts, celebrate early, or grab your friends for Galentine’s Day fun. Tickets are on sale now!
