Hello Kitty Cafe Truck In Chicago This Weekend

By
6/23/2023

Sanrio’s bright pink Hello Kitty Café Truck will return to Orland Square this Saturday, offering desserts and merchandise inspired by one of the most recognizable and enduring cartoon characters in the world. Debuted on a coin purse almost 50 years ago kickstarted such an enduring global phenomenon!

When the Hello Kitty Café Truck visited Orland Square last June, fans lined up around the mall to score a Hello Kitty T-shirt, mug, or other merchandise, despite pouring rain.

Created in 1974, Hello Kitty – at just “five apples tall” with a trademark pink bow on her forehead – remains a symbol of cute and retro culture today, sharing a message of friendship and joy “from the heart” and “of the heart.” The Hello Kitty Café Truck offers exclusive merchandise not available online, including Hello Kitty T-shirts, mugs, hoodies, plushies, tote bags, and more, along with treats like macarons, cookies, and madeleines.

The truck accepts credit and debit cards only, no cash. Merchandise is available while supplies last.

10 a.m. to 7 p.m. – Saturday, June 24, 2023

WHERE:

Orland Square Mall, outside, near The Cheesecake Factory

288 Orland Square Drive Orland Park, IL 60462
