The nonprofit Rogers Park Business Alliance (RPBA) is excited to announce the 23 vendors for the 15th anniversary season of the Glenwood Sunday Market. The market will run every Sunday from June 2 to October 27 (except for June 30 and August 18) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will be held on southbound Glenwood Avenue between Morse and Lunt Avenues, on the west side of the CTA Red Line Morse stop.

This season’s market features a diverse range of products, including meat, produce, dairy, honey, baked goods, sweets, coffee, tofu, popsicles, and flowers. Additionally, free kids’ activities have been newly added to enhance the market experience.

Established in 2009 through the grassroots efforts of the Rogers Park community, the Glenwood Sunday Market has played a significant role in supporting the local food system, generating revenue for farmers, stimulating regional economic growth, combating food insecurity, and fostering a community space. In 2023, the market had a substantial economic impact, providing an immediate benefit of approximately $1.5 million to farmers and food artisans. The 23 vendors served over 40,000 shoppers, resulting in $620,000 spent at adjacent businesses and a total economic impact of $4.7 million on the community. Additionally, $34,000 was raised for food access initiatives in Rogers Park.

The Glenwood Sunday Market has evolved into a vibrant hub, attracting both residents and visitors while fostering a strong sense of community spirit. Donations to support the market’s continued positive impact can be made at www.glenwoodsundaymarket.org.
