Giggity in Chicago: The Drunken Clam Pop-Up Brings the ‘Family Guy’ Universe to Life
Giggity, giggity. Chicago is about to get a little more like Quahog.
After sold-out runs in Boston, Los Angeles, and Houston, the wildly popular Drunken Clam pop-up experience is landing in the Midwest, transforming Chicago’s Everything Bar into the legendary fictional tavern from the long-running animated series Family Guy.
Running through mid-April, the fully immersive experience invites fans to step directly into one of television’s most recognizable cartoon bars—the place where Peter Griffin and his buddies have spent decades making questionable decisions.
The pop-up is produced by Bucket Listers, the experiential platform known for bringing pop culture worlds to life in major U.S. cities.
Starting at $18 per ticket, the experience includes a welcome cocktail or mocktail and access to a fully recreated version of The Drunken Clam, complete with the bar’s unmistakable neon sign and a series of themed environments designed to drop guests straight into the Family Guy universe.
Expect plenty of photo opportunities, interactive moments, and fan-favorite callbacks scattered throughout the space.
“Peter and the guys have made thousands of dumb decisions at The Drunken Clam on Family Guy. This is your chance to make a few dumb decisions of your own,” joked executive producers Rich Appel and Alec Sulkin.
Inside, guests can also take part in Family Guy–themed trivia nights and karaoke, making the pop-up as much a fan hangout as it is a nostalgia trip.
Food comes with a sense of humor, too. The cheekily named “Eat My Junk” menu, created by MasterChef finalist and Chopped champion Chef Becky Brown, riffs on memorable moments from the show. Expect playful items like the Good Old-Fashioned Value Burger and Greased Up Deaf Fries.
The cocktail menu leans fully into the show’s irreverent spirit with drinks including:
- Shut Up Meg – infused gin, honey, lemon and thyme
- The Evil Monkey – tequila, cassis berry, jalapeño tincture and lime
- Cool Whip – vodka, espresso blend, Mr. Black and whipped cream
- Pewterschmidt Industries – bonded bourbon, peach liqueur, lime and basil
- Fans can also browse exclusive merchandise created specifically for the experience.
- For die-hard fans of the Emmy Award-winning animated comedy, the pop-up offers a rare chance to step inside the world of Family Guy—without needing to travel to Quahog.
Tickets are available now exclusively through Bucket Listers, and if previous cities are any indication, they won’t last long.
Giggity, giggity.
