Chicago Actor, Stuntman, And Fitness Instructor Turns Spin Class Into Celebrity-Themed Custom Workouts

What do you get when you mix a spin class, a disco, celebrities, and a pinch of Soul Train and the Met Gala? You get the most unique exercise workout class in Chicago. The C.R.A.Z.Y. PSCYCLE CLASS is a one-of-a-kind spin class where participants dress up in costumes to match the theme of that day’s workout.

Themes include 70’s disco (with participants dressed as the Village People and 70’s fashion), Michael Jackson (participants dressed as Thriller zombies), Back to the 80’s (participants dressed as MC Hammer, Back to the Future, and other music and movie icons from the 80’s), Lady Gaga, as well as holidays among other themes. Beyond its fun and great exercise, the classes are a resource to raise thousands of dollars for many charities and worthy causes throughout Chicago.

“Theme rides”, like his wildly popular “Back to the 80’s” and “That 70’s Class” features songs from musical eras, while also inviting riders to participate by dressing according to the decade’s style. The results are a prime example of how Craig engages with his class participants to build a sense of community, while still delivering a substantive workout and fun for the riders. The intense, low-impact workouts provide numerous health benefits, including lowering body fat, improving cardio health, and boosting muscle endurance.

Each class session is a fundraiser featuring select charitable organizations. Participants are encouraged to donate directly to the causes, that are featured during the class session, and those donations are matched. The classes have raised thousands of dollars for many charitable organizations including Greater Chicago Food Depository, PAWS Chicago, Girl Scouts, Black Girls Code, Make a Wish Foundation, American Red Cross, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Lurie’s Children Hospital, National Network to End Domestic Violence, NAACP, City of Hope and dozens more.
