Forest Park Casket Races

The idea was born out of the fact that Forest Park (long ago referred to as the Village of Cemeteries) has about 50 to 1 more residents underground than there are above ground so to speak. Some towns have 5K’s or bed races. Forest Park has casket races.

The First race held in the Forest Park Chamber’s 100th anniversary year in 2012.
