Her essay “It’s Time to Make Children’s Mental Health a Priority” earned Honorable Mention in the 2022 Nonfiction Essay/Article category of the 91st Annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competition. A proud graduate with a Masters in Journalism from the University of Southern California, Brooke began her career as a media personality with the Houston Texans in 2007.
