The beloved Berwyn Blues Festival, presented by FITZGERALDS, returns for its second year! Best known for their July 4th weekend AMERICAN MUSIC FESTIVAL, which at 39 years old is one of the longest running music festivals in the country, FITZGERALDS in Berwyn is no stranger to the music festival game. An official recipient of the “Keeping the Blues Alive” award, bestowed by industry leader The Blues Foundation.

FITZGERALDS has long been a home for the blues in the Chicagoland area. To further strengthen the team behind the festival, WDCB 90.9, Alligator Records, and Local Legend Tom Marker are all co-presenters on the annual celebration.

In Fall 2021, as folks began gathering again, the club convened its Blues community around a three-day festival during the last weekend in September (the days’ statistically most likely to be beautiful weather in Chicago according to meteorologists) 30 bands from all over the country descend on FITZGERALDS Berwyn campus for a celebration of Blues Music in all its forms, as well as world-class ‘cue from BABYGOLD BARBECUE.
