Belmont-Sheffield Music Fest 2025: 40th Anniversary Celebration in Lakeview East
Get ready, Chicago—it’s time to welcome summer in style! The Belmont-Sheffield Music Fest returns for its 40th year, taking over Sheffield Avenue between Roscoe and Belmont from May 23–25. This beloved street festival is the unofficial launch of Chicago’s summer season, and it’s the perfect way to enjoy Memorial Day weekend.
Located just steps from the Belmont Red Line stop, the festival brings nonstop energy to the heart of Lakeview East with live performances on two stages, delicious food, local brews and wine, and a one-of-a-kind vendor market. Expect everything from handcrafted accessories and art to spicy hot sauces and vintage map home décor.
The entertainment lineup features both local talent and crowd-favorite tribute bands like Rod Tuffcurls & The Bench Press, Sixteen Candles, and Dancing Queen: An ABBA Salute. Throughout the weekend, you’ll also catch acoustic sets, DJs, and eclectic performances that keep the vibe fresh and fun.
Entry to the fest is a $10 suggested donation, which supports the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce—a nonprofit organization that uses the funds to enhance the beauty and safety of the neighborhood. “We’re so excited to be hosting this iconic fest again,” says Maureen Martino, Executive Director of the Chamber. “Your donations help keep these community events thriving.”
Whether you’re here for the music, the local shopping, or the unbeatable summer atmosphere, the Belmont-Sheffield Music Fest promises three unforgettable days in the city. Don’t miss this Chicago tradition!
