Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month At Alma

By
9/25/2023

As September unfolds, it brings with it the festivities of Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to commemorate and celebrate the rich cultural tapestry of Latin America. On Monday, September 25th, at 6 p.m., Alma, a renowned venue in our city, invites you to partake in a vibrant and culturally immersive celebration that promises an unforgettable experience.

The event will come alive with the soul-stirring rhythms spun by talented local Latin DJs. The music promises to set the stage for a night of dancing and celebration. Adding to the allure of the evening is the presence of guest bartender Diego Livera, hailing from the famed Cabinet Mezcal Bar of New York City. Mr. Livera will work his mixology magic, crafting exquisite drinks that will delight your taste buds and transport you to the heart of Latin America.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of Hispanic culture through a live painting session by local Chicago artist Pablo Serrano. His vibrant artwork will serve as a visual testament to the rich heritage we celebrate. The event will also be an opportunity to support and explore the offerings of Hispanic-owned businesses, such as Plant Shop Chicago and Gente Fina, who will showcase their unique products and services.

Don’t miss the opportunity to savor the Pineapple Blondie, a carefully crafted cocktail featuring Zacapa, pineapple, coconut cream, and citrus. This delectable concoction will be available at Alma throughout September and October.
