Let’s get you in the sack! We talked to Relationship Expert, Dr. Tara about all things love and getting some booty. As a tenured professor of relational communication and relationship coach at Luvbites, she has tips for how to best show love this Valentine’s Day using the 5 love languages: affirmation, physical touch, acts of service, quality time, and gifts.
Affirmation - Increase your verbal affirmation to your partner by saying things like “You look amazing in that outfit, “I love that romantic scent on you”, or “I appreciate everything you do for our family.” You can also try writing a love letter.
Physical touch - Try non-sexual touches that are more playful and romantic. You can also try a sexual meditation as part of your date night.
Acts of service - What better way to treat your partner to an act of service? Put out a cozy robe for them or bring them breakfast in bed to start the day!
Quality time - For this, plan a date night with your honey. It could be fun to make vision boards together or cook a romantic meal. The key is to stay present!
Gift - Chocolates and roses are a Valentine’s Day classic! You could also make your Valentine a handmade card or give them a cozy scarf to keep them warm for the rest of winter. It doesn’t have to be over the top to be special!
