The Lemont Junior Woman's Club Has A Free Event This Weekend

2/24/2023

LEMONT, ILL

For the past 25 years, Lemont Junior Woman’s Club (LJWC) has supported the greater Lemont Community by conducting award-winning safety programs, recognizing young adult volunteer efforts through our scholarship program, and providing needed funding for local food pantries and senior meals. Our community legacy is our LJWC park and Lemont Safety Village, a building used by many community organizations when not in use for our safety programs.

This weekend they have a big FREE event!

February 25 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. for the LJWC Mental Health Symposium at Old Quarry Middle School. The best part is that It is completely free and lunch will be provided. There will also be an option for childcare. Please register ASAP here so we have an accurate count for food.

The Lemont Junior Woman’s Club (LJWC) is a not-for-profit organization, providing cultural, educational, civic and philanthropic services to Lemont and its residents. The LJWC encourages self-improvement and fosters friendships among its members.

The LJWC is an award-winning service organization established in 1993 with a record-breaking charter group of 50 members, the largest charter group of any woman’s club in Illinois history. We are members of the 5th Junior District Federation of Junior Woman’s Clubs, and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC). The GFWC, founded in 1890, is the oldest and largest nonpartisan, nondenominational women’s volunteer service organization.
