The Far South Community Development Corporation (Far South CDC), a non-profit dedicated to fostering community growth in Chicago’s Far South Side neighborhoods and south suburban Cook County, proudly announces the extension of its transformative Far South CDC Marketplace program until December 23, 2023. This initiative, generously supported by The Coleman Foundation, aims to spotlight the endeavors of five dynamic Black-owned small businesses, complemented by the return of four esteemed Marketplace vendors.

Welcoming Aries Rising, Body and Soul Experience, Gifted Hands Quality Care, Javez Java Coffee Roastery, and Vessels of the Paut Neteru to the Marketplace, alongside the familiar faces of Chic T Boutique, Cosmic Creole, Max Candle Co, and Simply Stuff, this diverse array of enterprises provides an eclectic shopping experience. Patrons can explore an assortment of offerings, from high-end designer clothing and accessories to household essentials, natural beauty and skincare products, handmade wood carvings and resin journals, invigorating aromatherapy candles, and freshly roasted coffee, among other treasures.

The Far South CDC Marketplace, conveniently located at 837 W. 115th Street, Chicago, invites visitors to indulge in this vibrant shopping haven from now until December 23, 2023, with operating hours set at 12-6 p.m. daily. Acknowledging the unique schedules of each participating small business, patrons can enjoy the flexibility of varied hours throughout the week within this timeframe.
