NaShantá Fletcher is an inspiration to so many. She is an n award-winning graphic artist, freelance children’s book illustrator, and Emmy Nominated visual storyteller.
Fletcher worked in broadcast television for over 16 years, most notably as a Graphic Artist for the WGN Morning News, and as Graphic Design Manager for the national news network, NewsNation.
Fletcher left the news business to pursue her dream, and it’s safe to say that her dreams are coming true.
We caught up with Fletcher and hear her story of leaving news and starting her own business as a freelancer, recently illustrated two picture books for Scholastic titled ‘Happy & Healthy’ and ‘Me + You’, written by author/musician Divnity Roxx.
